This might be, without exaggeration one of the most brilliant books I have ever read. I have been scorned and shunned from the rockafellar library for my braying, consistent laughter as I was curled up reading this book. I had no expectations and was frankly blown away. The insanity and irreverence of Wenderoth's statements are never able to fully hide the kernels mind-blowing wisdom. He takes such a commonplace location and uses it as a device to explore, in depth, problems inherent in society and serious issues that we, as humans, must face. Using hamburgers and frostys and coca-colas to discuss the feelings of purposelessness its just kind of ingenious. Its the kind of book that I would not mind taking an entire semesters class on. seriously, lets do it.
