This book made me feel this 'Nice try but....not quite'.

Rachel and Luke's dad wrote a very famous series of children's books, and after he dies they become very famous. The book describes their past, present and how they feel about the future. I liked the beginning. The first few chapters were intriguing, I wondered what was going to happen. It took a turn for the worse though, and became predictable and dull. It was nicely written, that wasn't the issue. the characters were just bland and the story unengaging.
