** spoiler alert ** No more burning Audible credits on this series! I REALLY WANTED TO LIKE THIS BOOK, and it just wasn't as good as I thought it should have been...then, I figured out my problem: THE NARRATOR IS AWFUL!

Worse than the guy reader! Egads, way to kill a series. She has this forced breathy quality that is so far removed from sexy, I actually bought the book and am going to read it in the hopes of cleansing my brain of the memories.

I will re-write my review then.

Although, I did enjoy Marguerite's story, but I found the 500 years of pain just a little unbelievable. I know it's a blip to them, but that still a LONG time for Julius to not even find out how she's doing. He supposed to love her!! Also, she didn't think it kinda weird that she named EVERY SINGLE DOG FOR THE PAST 500 YEARS, Julius??

Again, I'll re-read then re-review, but there were holes like those that just hampered my overall enjoyment.
