I really liked the second book in this series as well. I love the characters and the world that Rivers created. I think she did a good job staying true to the story and creating an engagine and inspirational novel. It was a little preachy in the typical "come to Jesus" way of Christian literature, but it wasn't overwhelming and didn't interere with the story. I enjoyed the good morals, the positive perspective and a good CLEAN read. As an added bonus it made me want to read more of the Bible, especially the letters from the apostles to the early Christians. I had never really thought about how incredibly difficult that time must have been.
