Historical fictions + romance + magic = one very happy girl. I seriously enjoyed that. At first, I wasn't so sure, but things grew on me. Allarde and Tory are fantastic together and that hasn't changed. I kept getting chills reading romantic scenes. Guess that happens when the author also is a successful romance writer.

I admit, the plot is already a little old and it's only the second book. Tory and the rest of the kids have to go into the future where WWII is ravaging the world and change something to save the world. It's pretty much the same story line as in the first book. The only difference is that this time they're supposed to save a revolutionary doctor from being killed by Nazis.

The characters are just so awesome. I love how they're developed. That's the best part about reading this series is the characters. They aren't always who you thought they were. Like Cynthia. She had such a bigger part in this once and I loved it.
