It took me a long time to get into this book. It was not the "normal" PNR Vampire book that I usually read. Vail is an unwanted pure blood Vampire, he has no home, an his Mother is insane because he exists, his half brother wants nothing to do with him, a desire to kill his Father, and a "drug" addiction to fairy Incor, because he won't take blood. He loves Johnny Cash, wears Goth clothes and eye (man) liner. His Uncle hires him to find Lyric, she was kidnapped along with the priceless Fairy gown.

They are instantly drawn to each other. Lyric is soft, loving, strong and patient. She is also known as the Ice Queen and has her own secrets. Together they become a wonderful team and falling in love in the process.

I think my problem with this book was the Goth angle she gave Vail, her description wasn't sexy. I was never into that and he always said was over used. Lyric's interest in the circus was also out there, but I will say the sex scene on the "silks" was pretty hot! It was an ok read for me, I just couldn't get into it.
