This is the first book about Shelock Homes I approach. I did not know what to expect, actually! At the beginning, I found it quite nice, even if I must admit Sherlock Holmes is not that funny as I thought. I was a bit disappointed to see that the second part of the book was nothing about the first part, and thought nobody would have explained me what really happened in the end! Being the second part set in a completely different part of the world, talking about people I never read before in the book and apparently detached from the first part, I started to become a little bored to read something like a country novel. What a sruprise it was to reach almost the end and understand it wasn't detached at all! For sure, I would not expect this! This great surpise led me to like the book and for sure I'll give another chance to Mr. Arthur Conan Doyle ;)
