** spoiler alert ** The non-fiction novel, The Wedding by Nicholas Sparks is the sequel from the first novel, The Notebook. In The Wedding, the new main character is Wilson Lewis who is married to Jane. The couple was happy in the beginning, but started to drift away once they had three children. The conflict took a higher dramatic turn once Wilson forgets his 29th anniversary with Jane. This event made him recognize the silent separation that has been going on and wonders if Jane still loves him. In addition, other situations occur. Wilson’s eldest daughter is getting married on the day of his next anniversary with Jane. Throughout the book, Wilson has to juggle the upcoming surprise wedding and mending his own marriage with the help of friends and family.
In perspective, I think The Wedding was very well written and appealing to read. There were some boring chapters because of the many descriptions, instead of dialogue. Though overall, I think the atmosphere was very intense because of the situation the author has put the main character in. The novel deals with the truth about some marriages and how they can be drifted apart if it isn’t taken care of. The most interesting moment was the ending, which dramatically changes the whole story. I recommend this book to readers who don’t mind reading non-fiction adult novel and unexpected endings.

Hala Well, I am glad you liked it, but it is NOT a non fiction. Sparks writes fiction!
