Oh, if you're a bookworm, you're gonna love this. Even more so if you ever wanted to be a professional student. It is so many things--a coming of age type story, a mystery, a school story, and the breathless babblings of a obsessively-citatious narrator.

Blue Van Meer has spent her whole life traveling with her academic father from one year's appointment to another in a series of second- or third-tier colleges. This is the story of her senior year, a story that starts with yet another new school, new faces, her tenuous adoption into a clique of really (to me) quite obnoxious classmates, and a darkly glamorous teacher who is not what she seems.

In the middle a series of murders take this book off the expected path into some wild territory. The conclusion is not cut and dried but there's a little exam at the end that floats some theories for you

I really liked this one. A lot. I think it would make an awesome movie.
