liked it

Obviously a set-piece for Neil Gaiman's "A Study in Emerald," but nonetheless a lot of fun. Most of the stories can be taken or left, but the concept of Sherlock Holmes facing--or joining--with the forces of the Deep is a fun one, and played straight it's hard to resist.

(Gaiman's story is award-winning and perfect, and in my opinion is worth the price of the book.)
