Don't take my two-star too seriously. Even though this was a short story, to be it was too long; and boring. Although, it was VERY well written, I'm not into fine literature, I'm more of a story person.

In the Klondike (no not the ice cream bar) a man struggles in the cold heading for a camp while planning to search for gold. He is acompanied by a huskey that he used for his survival, although the ending is ironic. During the story, there is great detail about the cold. (about -60 degrees Fehrenheit). Also, a lesson at the end (and throughout) if you read carefully.

To Build a Fire. I recommend to people who like history. There is a lot to relate to in this short story.
