Wonderful second book in the Blood Slaves series. Rafe and Adam are such beautiful characters and their loving relationship just jumps off the page right from the beginning. As in the first book, I really liked the author's style of writing and the angsty plot that had the MCs all twisted up inside. Glad they got their happy ending even if Adam had to sacrifice a little more of himself than he intended - I think Rafe will take good care of him, though, and they'll make a fabulous team.

I cant explain why, maybe its all the romance books I read as a teenager and young adult, but I like the angsty stories best. The only way I can still enjoy them on Tv is in Spanish Soap Operas, Tela Novellas. The stories can be rather harsh, but very addicting to the women in my family. The women in these series go thru so much more than daytime tv, and yet you still want the main characters together :D
