Set during the time immediately following the resurrection of Jesus, the history of the early church comes alive. The main fictional character, Abigail, alongside Martha and Peter and Steven and other Biblical characters, reveals the struggle of faith in the midst of uncertainty and persecution. In this story I see the persecuted church of today and am stirred to remain faithful no matter what lies ahead.
