This is the classic investigative reporting masterpiece that put Bob Woodward and Carl Berstein on the map. An inept government administration and a lying president sure wrote this story itself. This book is what brought about the gotcha mentality of the day.

Anyone interested in presidential politics would do well to read this if nothing more than to understand the nation's fascination with Deep Throat.
