When I want to read a romance, I just want something to take my mind off the rest of my life. So I usually look for something by an author I like and take it home from the library. I need to be a bit more selective - this is the second romance in a row where I got 50 pages in and realized I had already read it. There are plenty of romances out there, I don't need to reread them. (Of course, my mom doesn't think anyone should read any romances, but that is another discussion entirely.)

This was a typical Lisa Kleypas romance - well written, a few twists to the standard plot and a hero and heroine that I could root for. That is all I needed and wanted. I am grateful for the break from reality.
