41.0% "Good grief, but this is a slow, long-winded book! I'm pretty certain that, if I were reading it rather than listening to the audio whilst doing other things, I'd have chucked it by now. It is written as though by Wilkie Collins (although not nearly as well), but with more of the meanderings of Dickens, the whole not helped by the careless and jarring use of Americanisms."

Zorena I've been meaning to add this because I really liked Hyperion and it reminded me of Power's Anubis Gates. I'll still add it and The Terror but where it lands on my to read list may depend on your review. ^.^
