2 secret agent types pose as a couple seeking treatment from a a fertility doctor running some "perfect baby" scam who has killed and may kill again! And, of course, in the course of the investigation, the heroine is artificially inseminated with the hero's sperm. OOPS. Lots of action/suspense ensues, although we never really find out why the fertility doctor kills, what exactly the scam is, or how it works, or why he has the firepower of a small third world nation. Is that too much to ask? At least there is conclusion to the romance part of the romantic suspense book from Harlequin, because I was starting to wonder.
