** spoiler alert ** Though I am sure this is written for children, it is puzzling as most of the book is about the mother. Sometimes the point of view is the father. Only the last couple of chapters is in the view of the child. The title is misleading. Maybe she will write a book two for this and we can actually get to know the child better?

And if the hair needs to stay in touch with the miracle... Who can expect it to stay through a lifetime? And if she only has a few... ?

This one wasn't nearly as exciting as Lynne's Indian in the Cupboard books. What was with the father pointing out the fatness? Mother should have kicked him to the curb! Why were these females so bland?

Cheryl I guess I'll have to re-read it. I thought I remember liking it - but you do bring up some provocative ideas!

Darlene I was actually surprised at your comments. But I was surprised at my own reaction to the book. :)
