Inconcievable!

This is a delightful book that follows the movie well, with the added bonus of a follow-up chapter. I don't know why it should be so enjoyable to read something that literally, word-for-word, often follows the movie, except that the movie itself is a delight! :)

message 1: by Laurie (new)

Laurie Well....is it not the case that the book came first? I think the movie followed the book very well -
I did like the movie very much. I often use the phrase: "...as you wish..." and think of Buttercup.

Heather Oh my I was thinking it was a rare situation where the movie came after, but that would be a bit silly... lol I also usually read a book before the movie but didn't know there was a book for years and years...

Laurie I was nearly speechless when I read your original message. How could it be that Heather BARON did not know the book came first?! Shocking! I have a copy that I never read (it was for Tod way back when) and I checked the published date: 1973.

Heather hehehe well that was WAY before I was born... is that an excuse? ;)
