Cold Service (Spenser, #32)
by Robert B. Parker
by Robert B. Parker
One of the better of the later books. I'm currently re-reading my way through the Spenser series, and astonishing myself by how good I think all the books are. I'd had the idea that the earlier ones were way superior, and that he fell off badly the more he wrote. Wouldn't say that now. They're all good. Highly recommended if you like witty, clever, fast-moving detective stories with characters you can really love, get into, and enjoy being with.
