Not quite as good as Stargirl. Some of her mystery is lost, and I think the humanness that we find is not exactly what I was expecting. (Probably some amount of this was projecting myself onto Stargirl in the previous book, and then being jarred by aspects of her that are different than myself.)

Lots of good insights, though, and the whimsical feeling with the same ideas that made the first so good.

I particularly enjoyed Stargirl's encounter on the rooftop with Perry, and the little bits and pieces that rang so true to real life, in such a simple way.
