Read from February 02 to 24, 2011 — I own a copy, read count: 1

I read the earlier release version of this novel and believe it's one of the greatest books I've ever read. It had a profound impact on me and one of the few books I can't seem to forget.

This version is the original, uncut version republished by Heinlien's daughter, Virginia, in 1991. The first copy Heinlien's publishers released was trimmed by 70,000 words. It included passages the publishers felt would not be accepted by the reasing public.

I was pleasantly surprised (and a bit chagrined as well) when I came across passages that I know weren't in the original. This is decidely a better read than the original. I had trouble putting it down and getting to work.
