** spoiler alert ** Although I found the hero & heroine engaging and love their build-up, I couldn't help skimming toward the end. The plot with the hero's son seems extraneous and the heroine's belief that all the hero needs is to be shown that he is loved! was a bit grating which is weird because I usually overlook that in other novels. Maybe I'm just tired of that plot device and Chase doesn't really bring anything new with how she presents it.

Beth666ann Jane, I skimmed by the end, too, felt the same way.

Jane Several months later: I think I wouldn't have felt weird for having skimmed the book if it wasn't so hyped. There's sort of a disappointed feeling attached to it.
