Johansen delivers an excellent novel in Body Of Lies. From the beginning when her heroine, Eve Duncan, receives a call and is brought to the swamps of Baton Rouge to reconstruct the face of closely guarded, mysterious remains until the attention grabbing twist at the end. Parts of the story seem slow and drawn out but Johansen makes up for those with her use of imagery, even though some of it is dark and eerie. While not a perfect example of Johansen's work, Body Of Lies is a good read.
