Bloodline
by Sidney Sheldon
by Sidney Sheldon
** spoiler alert **
I first met Sheldon when I was a kid, and I have to admit that I was quite impressed by his work at that time. Although it was hard for me to finish an English book at that time, I finished his book in a day. I picked this because one of my professors made a mention of it.
However, the plot was quite predictable and words were too shallow. No surprises through the story.
Many sexual descriptions, as usually seen in Sheldon's works.
Introduction was too long and boring, and the part about old Samuel - heroin's family history - was quite 억지 and unnecessary. Especially not satisfied with the ending, because I still had a hope for surprise then. Alec as a suspect was too dull. Rhys being the murderer would have been more fascinating - even if it was predictable.
Too much descriptions about fanciful thing that people might admire in wealth.
