A fascinating must-read for all mothers, for all women. Good tips for how to navigate a media-hyped world of "sassy" (read: toddler talk for sexy) shows, toys and products for little girls. Empowered me to say no to branding our female kids, teens. To quit allowing beloved "safe" companies tell girls that they should not strive to be smart or ambitious or creative...but the fairest of them all. And it validated my oft-labeled mean rule to keep princess movies away from my daughter until she's old enough to understand my concerns.

Kristin Wow, I just saw this on my Goodreads newsletter and thought - "I have to make sure to read this!"

Amelia I know! I'm currently number 30 for it at the Salt Lake library, haha...maybe I should just buy it.
