Wow! Wow!! I listen to this story on the audio CD. This is a great story!! I thought that this would some kind of weirdo teen novel or something gothic. Not so, thank goodness!!

Sarah Coomes did an excellent job in reading the novel. The audio was great!!

Two kids setting off on their own adventures and trying to figure stuff out on thier own. One of them have a gift or curse. Jem, the main charactor, can see numbers of people who she comes across. These numbers, she figures out soon enough, are dates of death. She knows when someone is gonna die but she can't tell them. Wow! Both are in trouble after a terrorrist attack and they go on the run. All kinds of stuff goes on in their run from the law and their miserable home life.

I didn't except it to end the way it did. I was near tears at the end. Read it or listen to the story and you'll know what I mean. A great surprising ending too!
