Read from February 16 to March 04, 2011

That was a mucky read. The last chapters became so horrifying I would stay disturbed for hours after.

The primary source of news sound bites and our personal frustrations deserves at least one heavy non-fiction read if not more. It's beautiful how all the little thoughts and observations all of us have had are brought into symmetry.

Also worth noting is at least to me, when comparing the fundamentalism of the three religions, the Islamic ones sounds the most reasonable and justified. That shocked me I must say.

Deleted Just read your review of what I consider -- for me -- a game-changing book because -- as you note -- "all the little thoughts and observations all of us have had are brought into symmetry." Well said.

I also recommend Armstrong's Jerusalem: One City, Three Faiths and The History of God. Both fascinating.

Seleucid Oh I agree Eileen. Thanks for dropping by.
