I really didn't know if I would enjoy this novel as it's a very differnt type of genre for me (cypber-terror) but, wow, what a ride! This novel is akin to watching a very good action movie on the screen only - with this book- you imagine the action sequences and a lot of them involve computers which would make an actual movie tough for a wide audience. The novel is very descriptive in how the programmers do their work but I did not find myself getting confused or annoyed with it. Faulkner is very good at making technical description readable, imaginable, and enjoyable - for that I am impressed. A very good thought-provoking sci-fi novel.
