The Shape Shifter (Navajo Mysteries, #18)
by Tony Hillerman

I picked out this book one day while out shopping because it looked like an interesting read based on the description on the back cover. I lost interest after a few chapters though. I couldn't follow any of the
characters, and was confused as to why the author wasn't too descriptive with each one. Some how I managed to finish this book in two nights. Afterwards I learned that this book is a part of a long series, so that explained why I had difficulty following the story. I would probably rate this book 3 stars if I had read the other novels in order. However I have no interest in the overall theme of this series to even consider tackling the rest.
