Review by Kathy Goodhew, author of; A Vision Beyond Abuse

I found Aileen's book, Fern Valley, to be a delightful collection of short tales and I am certain that it will appeal to all young readers, especially for those who have begun reading and comprehending full paragraphs. Aileen has a way of describing things in such detail that I could actually visualize each scene and occasionally thought I could taste some of the scrumptious desserts mentioned! Each story caught and held my interest and revealed some valuable lessons learned along the way that any child would be able to relate with. The book cover was an excellent choice and the adorable illustrations really added extra dimension to each story.
