Clever. Very, very clever. I wish I had found this folktale years ago. The illustrations are gorgeous as well. The cover says, "...the original artwork was created on paper made by hand from carrots, corn, potatoes, beans, radishes, tomatoes, and even a pair of gardening pants and shirt." My kids were enthralled with the entire tale. So was their mother.
