Oh lordy, I wish I'd never read this book. Then I would have had the illusion that Melissa Sue Anderson had a brain and/or a heart. Actually it's possible that she has both of those but that she's really, really screwed up. From what I've read in Alison Arngrim's book perhaps that's the case. (Arngrim didn't come out and say that, but she hinted at it from a respectful distance.)

Either Melissa is completely shallow, or she's very damaged. I actually hope that she's damaged because then she has a hope of getting herself out of this hole that she's in.

As for the book - she mostly just retells many of the Little House plots. You don't learn anything new from this book.
