The amount of detail provided, from the day to day minutia to the life-changing dramas, is staggering. It's so incredibly, painfully intimate, while maintaining an impressive objective and almost invisible narrative voice. LeBlanc's journalism is an invaluable window into the human side of socioeconomics.
