bookshelves: cross-religion

Historical fiction by way of characters, Set in Southwestern Anatolia in waning years of Ottoman Empire.
Members of our group had been to Turkey and shared pictures of some of the places mentioned in book.
Book tells of how people of different religions live in harmony until outside forces become involved and how people dealt with. If length is an issue I would recommend could do for 2 months, or a book to discuss after summer break, or when one month doing activity not required reading.
