The first in the Key trilogy introduces us to Mallory, Zoe, Dana, Flynn, Jordan and Brad. Mallory and Flynn take center stage in this fascinating tale. Mallory is a gallery manager with dreams of being an artist, but knows she doesn't have the skill. She's made her living surrounding herself with art. When she receives a mysterious invitation to Warrior's Peak, she finds herself involved in a quest for a magic key needed to save the souls of the Daughters of Glass. With help from Dana and Zoe, who also have to find keys, the three develop a heartfelt friendship that leaps off the page.

When Mallory is physically knocked down on the street by Moe, Flynn's dog, the sparks start flying immediately and a truly beautiful relationship is born.

With fun, fascinating characters, a rich and complex story involving a quest and ancient gods, this trilogy is one of my absolute favorites from Nora Roberts.
