I only give 2 stars with this 2nd installment of this series because the plot was a bit more interesting than the relationship and chemistry between the main characters Amaury and Nina. In the 1st book Amaury was hard core you could tell. I thought that his story would depict him more in that light but it did not. Something was just missing. Nina just got on my nerves, with things that were so obvious she seemed so dense in figuring them out. I mean really how are you a street kid growing up raising yourself and your baby brother, but more often than not you are operating without common sense? Just one example, the blood bonding... I will let you guys figure this one out. Nina and Amaury they just lacked the emotional and physical chemistry. Just when you think you may be getting a glimspe of greatness between them, something happens that changes the dynamic. It just was not there unfortunately.

Like I said this one was just okay. And if you are following the series then I would recommend you read it. But as for me Amaury's story was not what I hoped it would be. :(
