The writing is cluttered and I can't remember a single thing from it. Call me heartless but I couldn't give a damn if he was in pain. I want quality writing!
Ok, I'm not a fantastic lover of the book, I think Jean-Do is shallow and so on (i won't get into it here), and I rated it a two, but jeez, have a heart? Do you realise how hard it would have been to go through what he did and still come out with the determination to create a novel? I think it is a great triumph even though I personally do not like the book. But hey, have some respect man.
You gotta admit though, good writing would be tough for anyone to produce if they were spelling letter by letter via eyeblinks!
