Zaki The writing is cluttered and I can't remember a single thing from it. Call me heartless but I couldn't give a damn if he was in pain. I want quality writing!

Roz got to love your compassion

Emily Ok, I'm not a fantastic lover of the book, I think Jean-Do is shallow and so on (i won't get into it here), and I rated it a two, but jeez, have a heart? Do you realise how hard it would have been to go through what he did and still come out with the determination to create a novel? I think it is a great triumph even though I personally do not like the book. But hey, have some respect man.

Kristin You gotta admit though, good writing would be tough for anyone to produce if they were spelling letter by letter via eyeblinks!

David This isn't writing in the common sense. It's more like oral tradition getting finally fixed on paper. Pure stream of consciousness, if you wish. Don't blame it on the writing if you cannot read the work properly.
