The was a book club for my church group. The story was interesting with several twists & turns in the plot. However, I felt a bit "manipulated" by the author to skew my opinion of the character she was developing vs. resonating with the other characters as the story developed. A bit of the plot was forced and resulted in some unrealisted &/or unbelievable outcomes. I appreciated the intent of the story that God's grace and love is stronger than our failures.
