This Perfect Day
by Ira Levin
by Ira Levin
I am actually quite suprised that I enjoyed this book as much as I did. This would not have been a book I would have chosen on my own, but once I started reading it I had trouble putting it down. Despite it being such an old novel I did not feel that it was really outdated. The concepts and story line are something that we can still relate to today. A whole society full of people that look the same and act the same is a scary thought, but so is a society where people are selfish and destructive. Levin brings the positives and negatives of both societies to light and leaves you questioning which society you would want to live in. I would highly recommend this book.
