really liked it
Read from February 02 to 27, 2011

Whew! Wow. What a world. Not without flaws, and I stalled out halfway through and almost didn't pick it up again, but in the end I'm glad I did. It grows on you, and it explores ideas of diaspora, nationhood and identity in ways you don't see often in YA. Not for someone expecting fluffy escapist fantasy.
