I read this book a while back, a few years now at least, and even though it was an enjoyable read it's not one of those books that sticks in your mind, nor was it a story worth hanging onto to read at a later date. A serial killer novel, this is (I think) Karin Slaughter's debut novel and it's a good book for a debut.

The town's local medical examiner, Sara Linton, is thrust into a hunt for a serial killer in the small town of Heartsdale, Georgia, when a number of sexual-orientated murders take place. Assisting police chief Jeffrey Tolliver is not easy, considering the romantic past they have together, but they must find a way to put all that aside to rid their town of the killer.

Blindsighted is worth reading, so much so that it has left me pondering whether or not I should read more of Karin Slaughter, and that doesn't happen to me much. 3 stars.
