really liked it

A wonderful read about the loss of everything in WWII. Set in France after the war, a man is looking for his son. Unlike some of the other reviewers, I thought it was uplifting. I don't want to give any spoilers, but the book follows a true story arc with the protagonist making a decision which will affect the lives of him and a child in the story.

I loved it.
