i'm sorry. but i just love these weird futuristic worlds where sex is the mainstay in the culture. total sci-fi-lite. earthling woman (1st dimension world) gets kidnapped by huge, gorgeous human-like alien (7th dimension world) who believes - rightly - that she's his mate.

story line is basically just a vehicle for SEX. lots and lots of SEX. but enough world building to keep the sex moving along nicely.

if you're one of those people who insist h/h give up any sex with others because they're in lurrrrve, this might not be the book for you. although there is a strong distinction between actual penetration and anything else, so you might be ok. some of it felt really

things i hated/thought were stupid: some of the language of the 7th dimension characters. they're freakin' light years ahead of earth in terms of technology and their very existence. so why do they need to talk like their in a raunchy version of medieval times? also loathed (though extremely common in these stories) how quickly/easily heroine gave up her past, her planet, her life and just accepted that she's now part of this weird culture. a couple of lame comments, one escape plan and some yearning does not a kidnapped victim make.

will most likely read some more of the series - future main characters were littered throughout this book, so i can see where it'll all go. but again - the sex is good, so if i'm in a the mood for that - i'm in.
