The Schopenhauer Cure

I really enjoyed this book, and loved my reintroduction to Schopenhauer, of which I had only had a brief overview in my Philosophy courses in college. Enjoyed the writing, and was pleasantly surprised that an author who normally writes textbooks was able to transfer easily to a fictional genre. A great introduction to group therapy, and my only pick was the slightly unrealistic dialogue of the members of the group (some of the women's voices seemed inauthentic to me; the different voices of the men were easy to confuse - not enough distinction especially between Stuart and Gill, I kept mixing them up). Overall, an interesting and good read - thought-provoking about our view of death and the realization of our mortality.
