Beautiful Children: A Novel by Charles Bock
I kind of wanted to hate this book due to all the hype, but it's a great fucking book. I found the subject matter fascinating, and the writing was at times stunning (albeit trending towards over-the-topness). I didn't care. The only reason I'm not giving it 5 stars is because there were two events near the very end that I found implausible. In most books I wouldn't give them a second thought, but because what preceded it was so solid they stood out. Good stuff.
