Great Expectations
by Charles Dickens
by Charles Dickens
** spoiler alert **
Stuffy, dry and full of useless adjective-ridden garbage. Characters would be hard to identify with even if I was born in the time period. If you are thinking that I am not intellectually advanced enough to appreciate this fine art, then you are a follower. Try to think for yourself sometimes. Bye-bye.

I can honestly say, having read the book (not for any english class) that I enjoyed it a great deal, and thought it had lots of great characters, but yes, could have been an awful lot shorter. And no, I was not pressured into this opinion by anyone. If I hate a book I have no qualms about saying it.
