This book was amazing in many regards. A lot of the information about evolution and quantum theory was very thought-provoking. But from a literary perspective, there were many places where Mr Schroeder could have used a good editor. I've never had a need, personally, to try and reconcile the Biblical account to the scientific record, preferring to allow both the room to present their unique way of explaining truth. Schroeder's text, however, does synthesize the two in some very surprising and intriguing ways. He does lose me near the end when he gets into some far-protestant theology but overall this book is really good. For a five-star read of the same genre, try Brian Greene's The Elegant Universe instead.
