Heather's review of Confessions of a Shopaholic
Confessions of a Shopaholic by Sophie Kinsella
If I was having dinner party there is no doubt that Becky would have to be there, just so I could say...WHAT WERE YOU THINKING?
This was a VERY SLOW START for me. Yesterday I picked up with 3/4 of the book left after not having read it in over a month and finished it within a day! So, I guess you could say it took a while to catch my attention, but it had me laughing in disbelief at everything that happened to the poor girl. A very light-hearted read that as my husband says when referring to The Hills TV show.."I probably became more stupid from watching that"...could also have been said about this book. But don't we all need something that means nothing to take our mind off our own life? I liked it so much, that I am starting the next book in the series tonight. Hopefully, she won't put herself in the previous financial situations that had me gritting my teeth and yelling out loud....NO, please don't buy that!
