Oh, the books you should know! I received this book as a college graduation gift, which I thought was a little odd (Dr. Seuss? Really?) until I read it. Yes, this book can work as another charming picture book for the kids but the true beauty of it is understanding it as an adult.

This book is full of positive optimism, but also deals a healthy amount of realism: sometimes you won't, the waiting place, 98.75% sure you'll succeed, etc. In a time when "The Secret" reigns and positivism is thought of as axiomatic, I think this book is just what the Doctor ordered (Seuss, that is).

Charming in the presentation, true in its philosophy, and full of healthy optimism and encouragement I find this book to be a great inspiration. Full of brains in your head and feet in your shoes, I think you'll enjoy this book if you choose.
